The Treasurer’s office receives and disburses all funds belonging to the Town, pursuant to Mass General Laws. In addition to general cash, the treasurer is the custodian of all trust funds, stabilization funds and investments. All town banking is managed by the Treasurer’s office. In addition, the Treasurer is responsible for borrowing funds, collection of accounts certified as tax title cases, payroll and employee benefit administration.
