1. Williamsburg conservation initiatives (existing and potential)

1. Applied to state MVP Program to develop a watershed management plan for the Mill River watershed which includes almost all of Williamsburg. The watershed management planning effort would be coordinated with the simultaneous efforts of the Planning Board to develop a comprehensive plan and on-going work on Mill River Greenway
2. Mill River Park along future greenway – can the Open Space Committee to lead fundraising to transform this land into a public park. What’s the right timing?
3. Recreation Commission interest in raising funds to improve Ames Field
4. Gere Hill land and Conservation Commission
5. Land adjacent to Briar Hill Conservation Area at Goshen/ Conway town line – “Clary Hill” will be protected by Hilltown Land Trust with public trails on Goshen portion of the property that will connect Briar Hill trails to D.A.R. State Forest.
6. Town Commons committee formed to plan for area around Public Safety Complex
7. Other initiatives?
8. OSRP Action Plan – discussion of what actions to pursue when (in addition to items noted above)
