2022 Annual Town Caucus

The 2022 Annual Town Caucus will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Town Highway Garage, 24 Main Street, WIlliamsburg. This traditional, annual event is held to nominate people to run for the available seats for the Annual Town Election which is held the first Monday in May. The warrant is here which shows which seats are up for this upcoming election. We are holding this event at the Town Highway Garage again this year to adhere to COVID protocols and keep everyone safe. Please wear a mask. The checking in for voters will begin at 10:30 a.m. Please come see the process of an old tradition for nominating people to run on the ballot. 

There are several seats where the incumbent is not running for re-election which includes both Local School Committee seats, both HRHS School Committee seats, a Water & Sewer Commission seat and the Moderator seat. If you have an interest in any of the seats, please contact the Town Clerk to inquire about the process.
