Poetry Reading with Maureen Hogan O’Brien

Celebrate national poetry month at Meekins Library with Williamsburg poet Maureen Hogan O'Brien, who will read from her recently published book, Light On the Water. Light On the Water reflects her life experience, gritty and real, poems of love and loss, life and death, the ongoing life of solace in work and friendships, and wonder at the natural world.

UPCOMING Art Exhibition: Paintings by Frances Kidder

Frances Kidder's paintings of the Mill River Disaster will be on exhibit at the Neil Hammer Gallery at Meekins Library. Kidder was moved to create artwork as "an elegy to those who suffered." This event is part of the 150 year commemoration of the Mill River flood.
Join us for an opening reception & artist talk on Saturday, May 11th.
The reception will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Kidder will speak about her work at 1:00 P.M.
