ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION 2020-05-04

Important Information

Hello,

This is an important message from the Williamsburg Town Clerk.

The Annual Town Election is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 4, 2020 with voting from 10 am until 7 pm. At the Town Offices.

With the current pandemic, the State of Massachusetts is allowing early voting by mail for municipal elections or there is always absentee voting.

I am highly recommending that the voters in this community who wish to vote in the municipal election to request an absentee or early voting ballot by mail, especially if you are age 55 or older or have an underlying medical condition.

Absentee or Early voting ballot applications can be found by clicking the links or at www.burgy.org or call 268-8402 to request an application. The application can be returned by dropping off to the lock box at Town Office, mailed back to Town Clerk, PO Box 447, Haydenville, MA 01039 or can be emailed to townclerk@burgy.org

If you want to vote in person on voting day, we will be practicing social distancing and I am asking any person that comes to the polls to wear a mask and gloves while being present in the Town office. I will only be allowing a certain number of voters in the building at a time and will be disinfecting voting booths and pens.

Hopefully this will be over soon and we can get back to business as usual. Until then stay healthy and safe. Thank you.
