TOWN GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

March 13, 2020

Effective immediately the Town of Williamsburg government buildings will be closed to the general public.  The buildings include both Fire Stations, Highway Department Garage, Meekins Library, Police Station, and Town Offices.  These buildings will be locked and the public will not be allowed inside.    

All employees will continue to provide essential town functions and service to the public. 

You may reach departments by email and phone.  Please see the list below.  All tax payments may be made online through this link or can be mailed to the Town Collector at PO Box 488, Haydenville, MA 01039 or you may drop them at the drop-box outside of the Town Office building.

The Transfer Station will remain open.  We ask that you remove your trash and recycling from your vehicle expeditiously and  to not remain on the premises to visit.

We thank you for your understanding as we make decisions to reduce the spread of the virus, protect the health of our town employees and to maintain governmental functions under the threat of the Coronavirus.   

We will reassess the closing of the buildings and town government operations every two weeks.
